BarCamp Grand Rapids has kicked off. This is my second BarCamp, and I’m looking forward to the same great experience of meeting lots of other geeks, learning about new technologies and ideas, and of course good local beer.

In particular, some of the sessions that should be particularly interesting:

• Programming Language Showdown!
• What I hate about Web2.0. What I love about Web2.0
• <font/> is evil

Following the rules of BarCamp I will also be presenting: “Fun with Geo”. I’ll show how you can embed geolocation, and GeoRSS into your blog/site, and then consume it in something like Mapufacture.
