		<description>Sounds a little like http://buglabs.net/ (allowing random attach/detach of one or many screens, plug and play gps, accelerometer, etc.) They even (supposedly) expose the peripherals via REST so you could use them remotely. They expect you to write your SW in Java though.</description>

		<description>You are warming the cockles of every Grid computing person's heart here. Not to mention Sun and their container full of computers. And the Gumstix people.  I think lots of people think this is possible and a good way to go. It remains an exercise of packaging. If you could pop in compute units as easily as we currently put batteries into things, then there's a chance.</description>
