WAYN logoWAYN – Where Are You Now? is a campy, simplified Plazes made for the AOL generation. They have done some nice things like included AIM, MSN, Outlook, Yahoo integration for contacts (beware! WAYN will contact those people in your contacts that are not currently members), and has a built-in chat client with location abilities.

All these location services popping up. Seems like a new kind of IM ‘war’, where your friends are on one service and you are on another service. There will have to be Adium/GAIM/Trillian clients in which you can upload your location/travels once to all of the services.

    How do I stop this robot spammer from sending emails from me when I’m not sending them? I can’t seem to contact anyone or anysite that will get me off their list!

    You can easily opt out from this – there is a link underneath the invites – you can also contact support I think at support@wayn.com – Its quite simple and I did obtain a very good service personally

    I believe so – though I haven’t signed up myself. I have homegrown means to achieve similar ends. :)

    dont get involved with these guys they get into your contacts and and send mail on behalf of you giving false names of the people sending them,they also get into your cpu and mail to people that arent even in your contacts,becareful of these people
