China should leave us alone in whatever status we are living here, in India, as the matter of fact, we the people of Arunachal pradesh r naturaly unlike mainland Indians, our looks way of living, food habbits Historical backgrounds also tells us no connection wid the Indian side most of us have Originaly decsended from China China or Tibbet, before the British rule. Now the Question is why China or Tibbet abandoned us to Britishers? Now we all are used to with all the Indian system though we dont like the step brotherly treatment given to us, and and all those sarcastic gestures n eve teasings, like 'hey Chinks, at the roadside of the mainland cities n towns. I think, it'd not have happend, had we've been there in China. Now its not good n not possible also,to dream or dare to annex Arunachal to China. We've been born Indian n we are Indian. Bye-Bye China! Lol.

The shape of disputed territories is of interest to researchers in many fields because researchers look at boundaries as data vessels. For example, consider the value of data, say GDP, in one country compared to that of another. If the size of the vessel isn't understood, then the measurements can become mucked up. In the interest of understanding where there is disagreement regarding national boundaries, ISciences is developing a Global Disputed Territories map, which we expect to release soon. To date, we have identified 111 disputed territories in 69 different nations.

While the Global Disputed Territories map itself is fascinating, the most important piece of this puzzle is the metadata. To encourage data exploration by non-GIS experts we've created our own style of metadata that we are calling Map Guides. Our Map Guides are written in easily understandable language and include detailed reference sources along with a complete description of how the map was constructed from the source data.

Indeed - the "anarchic collective" of OpenStreetMap does work to reach out to all aspects and corners. But what's even more vital is the existence of clear metadata, and even data!, that exposes the perspectives while giving opportunity for some to understand and feedback.

Obviously the anarchy cannot represent "official" boundaries, the concepts are antithesis - but the premise of how it operates, and the clarity it offers in what it is portraying, is vital.
