Upcoming talks: Location Intelligence Workshop

Location Intelligence LogoThis spring is shaping up to be a very exciting and busy one. I'm currently slated to present at 3 conferences so far on mapping.

Mikel and I are giving a workshop, Introduction to Neogeography at the Location Intelligence Conference April 16-18, 2007 in San Francisco. It will be 3-hour introduction and tutorial on how to use various mapping and geocoding tools, and what typical users may encounter and want to do when geocoding their photos, blog, share stories, or map their genealogy.

The conference is business oriented, and the hope is that attendees will leave with a better understanding of where typical users are coming from and how to provide them with the interface and tools that make mapping and geography
